One card. Two technologies.

Reusable refraction data card combining NFC technology for the Nexio ecosystem and a contact smart card fully compatible with NIDEK / Marco Eye Care Card workflows. A single card for both existing Eye Care Card installations and next-generation Nexio connectivity.

How it works

The measurement travels with the card.

nexCard keeps the familiar Eye Care Card gesture and adds Nexio NFC: measurements move from one station to the next without network or cloud.

Step 1

Measurement

The autorefractor, lensmeter, or phoropter produces the data.

Step 2

Card writing

nexBox or the instrument writes via NFC or contact chip.

Step 3

Reading

The phoropter, a nexBox, or nexRef reads the card again.

Offline by design.

The card physically carries the data. The workflow stays local: no mandatory cloud and no instrument forced onto the client network.
